A partnership of experienced businessmen with very successful track records were running companies working in the hospitality industry.

A sea change in the way their principal contracts were interpreted by new suppliers caused a marked downturn in financial performance. They asked Nabarro Poole to consider the situation and advise, as they were not satisfied that their existing accountants had sufficient commercial acumen to help them.

Nabarro Poole devised a strategy which was put into action by and with the directors. Onerous contracts and bank facilities were renegotiated and a new group structure put into place. Loss making assets were sold and redundant companies wound up so that future efforts were concentrated in profitable areas.

Released from the time consuming tasks of running poorly performing assets, the directors were able to take up new opportunities which netted considerable profits.

Throughout the period Nabarro Poole also assisted the companies with their management and statutory accounts and their taxation affairs. We helped with company meetings, minutes and payrolls developing a close working relationship which continues to this day.
