For many years we have acted for a professional firm with two principals and a number of staff.

Initially we prepared periodic management accounts, prepared the payroll and completed the partnership and individuals tax returns. When a number of tax changes came together in one tax year which made the change particularly tax effective we proposed that the business change to a limited company.

This active approach saved the principals money and reduced the commercial risk. Subsequently the firm has taken our advice when considering bringing in a new younger shareholder and director. This involved undertaking a shares valuation and recommending a series of transactions that fits both the principals' and company's needs including outlining areas that required legal advice.

We have also provided advice on the nature of property transactions both from a tax and funding perspective. We continue to provide the firm and its directors with administrative help and financial advice.
